We tend to think of Las Vegas as the land of sin-creation.  Jared and Natalie Allen are turning that notion on-its-head with their hot little business, SyncCreation.

Can you use “good vibrations” to win at the dice-rolling game of craps?  According to Dr. Joe Gallenberger, good vibrations can make you a winner at everything in life.  Using “peak mental states” to win at games of chance is a pretty interesting notion, but Jared and Natalie are doing something more interesting than that, even, in the world of micro-business.

The Allens have bypassed the tired approach of building a business from the ground-up and they’ve jumped straight to building a Big Marketing Invention.  According to one super-handsome, maverick business mega-guru (me,) the Big Marketing Invention is THE secret key to micro-business success.  Forget about inventing a new product.  Invent a new way to MARKET the thing.

SyncCreation is the poster child for the Big Marketing Invention and Jared and Nat did it by-the-book.  First, they found a product that inspired them.  The couple fell in love with Dr. Joe’s Las Vegas adventure.  They didn’t grab just any-old product to market.  They chose something that revved up their passion.

Then, they went with what they knew:  online marketing.  The Allens have a long history of failures and spectacular successes coupling online advertising with telephone sales.  So, they stuck with their area of expertise.

Dr. Joe knows gobs about human psychology and peak states, but he doesn’t know squat about online marketing.  Partnering with the Allens made perfect sense.

Jared and Nat didn’t just plunk down Dr. Joe’s courses on a website and start buying Google ads, though.  Advertising without marketing is like sex without wine, dinner and chewing gum.  The SyncCreation courses needed to undergo revitalization in order match the soul the Allens had envisioned for their new company.  The courses needed to be clean, light and inviting.  After a bit of re-working, they were ready to launch.

Since then, they’ve perfected their internet ad campaigns as well as their telephone sales approach and the new company is crushing it – making bank even in a down economy.  The Allens didn’t waste tons of time and brain damage on re-inventing the wheel.  They didn’t blow a year or two coming up with their own courses – they cut right to the chase and started marketing Joe’s fantastic stuff.

And, in case you were wondering:  the answer is “yes.”  The Allens are very good at craps.  Probably not good enough to move to Las Vegas, but good enough that I always let them roll when we step up to the tables.
